June 2024 Library Update

Jun. 01, 2024 Jan Burney

Those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer are not too far away. We have plenty of lovely summer reads at the library. Come on and in and we will connect you with the latest in your preferred genre or help you find some old favourites. There’s nothing like sitting on your deck and marveling at your beautiful garden over the pages of your latest escape with a glass of iced tea in your hand.

Have an Idea For a Fun Program?

We are in the midst of planning our programs for the Fall session. If there is a program or class you would like to attend or teach, please contact Jan and the Library, we would love to hear from you. Don’t wait until it’s too late!

Bikes Back in the Library

Our Bikes For All program has returned! You can borrow several bicycles of various types and sizes until the end of September. If you want to cycle around town, bike Friendship Trail or head up to Kananaskis Country, we have you covered. You will need to sign a waiver before you cycle away; it will cover you for the entire season. We wish to express a huge thank you to Dave Macaulay who volunteers as our bike mechanic to keep the bicycles in fine running order.
