Bikes for all

Need a bike for a short trip? If you want to cycle around town, bike the Friendship Trail or head up to Kananaskis Country, we have you covered!

We have several bikes in a variety of types and sizes available from mid-May until the end of September.

Currently, our bikes are only free to Sheep River Library members.

Safety and Waiver

The first time you borrow a bike each year, you will need to sign a waiver (available online or in the library) before you cycle away.

If you are under 18, a parent/guardian will need to be with you when you hand in your waiver.
Sheep River Library Bike Waiver

Helmets must be worn by all participants at all times! You may:

Bring your own helmet, or
Borrow one from the library and sanitize it with our wipes before you return it.

Let library staff know if the bike needs repairs so we can repair it for the next user.

The library provides bike locks.

Bikes must be locked up when you aren’t using them.
