First Aid Courses

The foundational First Aid course focuses on preserving life, preventing further injury and providing first aid care until medical aid arrives. Participants receive a course workbook and First Aid certification. 

Basic (Emergency) First Aid

$110 + GST  - 8 hours (9AM-5PM)  Saturday, October 5, 2024

Basic First Aid focuses on the areas of preserving life, preventing further injury and providing first aid care until medical help is available.  Topics and skills include CPR/AED, Choking, Shock and Wound Care.  This is intended for the first aider who will have EMS care within 15-30 minutes.

3 year certification.  Manual included

Intermediate (Standard) First Aid

$125 + GST - 16 hours (9AM-5PM both days)   Saturday, October 5 & Sunday, October 6, 2024

This course focuses on preserving life, preventing further injury and providing first aid care until medical help is available.  An in-depth course, it covers all the foundational skills covered in Basic First Aid (CPR/AED, choking, shock etc. ) and then adds in topics such as fracture care, mental health emergencies and medical emergencies.  This is intended for the first aider who will have EMS care within 15-30 minutes.
